  • Represented Japanese and multinational companies in domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate matters.
  • Represented Japanese and international companies before the Japan Fair Trade Commission (“JFTC”) on merger filings and on investigations of alleged cartel activities.
  • Conducted compliance seminars for officers and employees of Japanese manufacturing companies and trade associations.
  • Represented Japanese and multinational companies in development of renewable energy projects (such as solar power projects).
  • At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, acted as legal counsel in negotiations of Japan’s economic treaties including the Economic Partnership Agreements, and engaged in the dispute settlement procedures under WTO.
