Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Keio University in 2013. Completed Waseda University Graduate School of Law and passed the Japanese Bar Examination in 2015. Registered as a lawyer and joined a law firm in Tokyo in 2016. In 2019, joined Kao Corporation, where she was engaged in a wide range of corporate legal matters across both B2B and B2C businesses, as well as the development and implementation of a company-wide compliance framework for the Subcontract Act (currently, the Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators). In 2024, joined the Consultation and Guidance Office of the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), where she handled a wide range of consultations submitted by businesses and trade associations regarding the Antimonopoly Act. In August 2026, joined ZeLo. Her practice focuses on antitrust and competition law, M&A, general corporate matters, startup and venture-related legal matters, litigation and dispute resolution, and intellectual property matters. Drawing on her experience at the JFTC, she provides clients with practical and strategic advice on antitrust and competition law matters, combining regulatory insight with practical business perspectives.
Served as Deputy Director of the Consultation and Guidance Office of the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), where she provided guidance on a broad range of Antimonopoly Act matters to businesses and trade associations and delivered numerous training programs on competition law for trade associations and overseas competition authorities.
As in-house counsel, she handled a broad range of corporate legal matters, including the development and implementation of a company-wide compliance framework for the Subcontract Act (currently, the Act on Ensuring Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators), legal support for legislative amendments, legal advice on new business initiatives, dispute resolution, the planning and delivery of legal training, contract review, and daily legal consultation.
Advised on M&A transactions, including the review and drafting of transaction documents and participation in contract negotiations.
