INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: INDEPENDENT LOCAL FIRMS IN JAPAN TIER 4 FIRMS ZeLoZeLo’s Intellectual Property team was formed in January 2020. In addition to providing general advice regarding IP strategy and management for clients, the group handles WIPO filings and other patent and trademark filings. The IP team also assists and is assisted by ZeLo’s Corporate and other lawyers on various related matters, including to draft and negotiate licencing agreements regarding patents, trademarks, and other IP rights, as well as to conduct IP-related due diligence for corporate transactions.
